9 days at Saint Joe's, Cindy went down late this morning for a bone marrow test. Cindy said WoooHooo didn't feel a thing. She is back in her room eating some Mocha ice cream and talking to Laurie and her Mom.
Alan came by after his radiation with Cliff yesterday too say hello and share his gentle spirit, Dave stopped by and read scriptures with her and offered a prayer, thank you, Laurie Nunez stopped by to say hello and catch up, great to see you! Cynthia also stopped by, even when its difficult to make the trip you give of your time and love :)
She really enjoyed everyone taking the time to stop by. Mom is staying each night with Cindy, she says she lives here :)

Hello my precious Cindy. How I wish I could be there with you to cuddle. How many do you think we could get on the bed? We could go for a record.
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to know that your friends are stopping by. You do know that they stop by just so that you can inspire them? I know that is the way I feel when I'm with you...and even when I'm not. Although I'm your elder, I feel that you are the one giving me strength and you always inspire me with your gentle ways. It's like you're the light that comes on whenever we're together. You've been like that ever since you were a little girl.
Mandie and I were just talking about you and she said that whenever the song "Angel" from Sara McGloughlin comes on TV, it reminds her of you. It's just your nature to be that way, honey, and what a great thing to have and share.
Next time I'll share one of those stories you love so much. Always know I love you, sweetie and think of me giving you a big hug right now!

Hello there Cindy the Great...I had forgotten about that until I read Sharon's message...makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteSo many of my friends ask me about you and I try to describe your courage and even when you're feeling so crummy, you do manage to give me a little chuckle when we talk. I sure hope you're feeling better today and find out some news with your bone marrow test...I'm sending you a big hug...love, Aunt Jo
“Nobody can have faith for you. Certainly, other people can pray for you, they can believe for you, they can quote the Scripture to you, but you must exercise faith for yourself… Other peoples’ faith can indeed bolster yours. But your own faith will bring you a miracle much faster than anybody else’s. What YOU believe has a much greater impact on your life than what anybody else believes… Look into that invisible world, into the supernatural world, and through your eyes of faith, see (your) situation turning around. See your joy and peace being restored… You will become what you believe.” – Joel Osteen
ReplyDeleteCindy, when I read those words, I knew I had to share them with you. I’m thinking about you, praying for you, believing for you, and hoping my faith is bolstering yours, just like Joel says! I thought I was going to be able to visit you today, or I guess it’s yesterday now; I was soooo disappointed. Anyway, keep believing for good things, and I’ll see you SOON. Love you! Cheryl
